BHUBANESWAR: Students from the Twin City excelled in the Central Board of Secondary Education Class XII examination, results of which were announced on Monday. Ansuman Kamila of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur here  notched up the top spot by securing 96.4 per cent. All the top schools in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack fared exceedingly well with 100 per cent success rate. In DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, 201 of the 203 students, who appeared for the examination, bagged first divisions. At least 46 per cent  students of the school secured above 90 per cent marks and the share of those bagging 80 per cent marks and above was 65 per cent. While Ansuman was at the top of the list, Ananya Das followed with a score  of 96.2 and Diganta Jena with 95.6 per cent in the Science stream. In Commerce, Anuj Agarwal was topper with 92.4 per cent followed by  Arati Agarwal (90 per cent) and Arzoo Garg (89.6 per cent). Of the 26 students who had appeared for the branch, 22 cleared with first class. The Unit VIII DAV Public School students also performed extremely well. Of the 168 students who appeared for Class XII examination, 98.8 per cent secured first class. Tejasa Mishra topped the school with 95.8 per cent  followed by Eleena Mohanty 95.6 per cent and both Jagrutu Patel and Sweta Swagatika Dash with 95.2 per cent respectively. More than 19 per cent students of the school secured over 90 per cent. In Commerce stream, the school saw Ishani Chakrabarty notched the top spot with 94.8 per cent. The second and third places went to Karishma Patra (93.4 pc) and Sonali Samal (93 pc). Of the 53 students who appeared for the examination, 25 per cent scored more than 90 per cent in aggregate. Mother’s Public School, another major school of the city, recorded 100 per cent success rate. Of the 335 students who appeared for Science stream, 25 grabbed more than 90 per cent marks while 262 managed first  class. Abhijit Nanda topped the chart with 95.2 per cent while Pratyasha Peepal with 95 per cent and Ipsita Padhi with 94.4 per cent were placed second and third respectively. In Commerce stream, Silky Agarwal scored 91.8 per cent to emerge as topper. Of the 57 students who appeared for this stream, 38 secured first class. DAV Public School, Pokhariput reported a school aggregate of 78.5 per cent. Of the 94 students who appeared for the examination, 93 secured first class.  Pranja Pallabee Ray was the topper with 93.6 per cent while Aditi Mishra and Sambita Sahoo with 91.4 per cent each and Sidhant Sethi with 90.4 per cent were  placed second and third respectively. SAI International School excelled too. This year, the first batch of Class XII  passed out of the school. The school posted a 100 per cent first class record in Commerce wing with Mukund Agarwal bagging the top spot by securing 94.4 per cent. Bharat Didwania and Nikita Bajoria secured 91 per cent and 90.2 per cent respectively to be placed at the second and third spots. In Science stream, 68 students appeared for the examination of whom 91.2 per cent secured first class. Abhaya Kumar Nayak was the school topper with 94.6 per cent while Kushal Tibriwal, who secured 92.6 per cent and Sidhartha Samanta with 92 per cent , were placed second and third.CUTTACK: DAV Public School, CDA-Bidanasi saw Arnab Behera topping the Science stream with 95.4 per cent while Abhigyan Patra, who scored 95 per cent and Vaibhab Pathak with 94.8 per cent, were second and third place holders. A total of 167 students had appeared for the examination. In Commerce, Arushi Agarwal with 92.4 per cent was the topper while Sriradha Mohapatra was second with 90.6 per cent.
