UGC Net Result December 2018 | The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the UGC NET 2018 result on its official website ntanet.nic.in. The candidates, who had appeared for the University Grant Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018 examination, can check their results from the official website.
The exam was conducted for the first time by NTA from December 18 to 22 last year in two shifts in around 235 cities across India. The exam was conducted for 85 subjects for which around 9,56,837 candidates had registered.
The exam is conducted to award Junior Research Fellowship and successful candidates can get jobs as a teacher in universities and colleges of India. As per the UGC policy, six per cent of those candidates who appear in both the papers and obtain minimum qualifying marks in aggregate of both the papers are declared NET qualified. The certificates to the qualified candidates will be issued by UGC.
For the first time the NTA changed the mode of the examination to Computer Based Exam and live CCTV surveillance was conducted through more than 8,000 CCTVs.
