Indore: Describing suspended BJP leader Uma Bharti as "headache", Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today said the first expectation from the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government is that of stability.
Digvijay Singh said, "Shivraj Chouhan will not be able take on Uma Bharti. The sadhvi and her supporters can go to any extent to destabilise the government. They can even go to the extent of disrupting communal harmony."
Singh stated that Uma's going on a Ram Yatra was expected because the BJP remembered Lord Ram whenever power slipped out of its hands.
"I don't know if Uma Bharti will be included in the Congress Party. All I know is that she will remain a headache wherever she will be," he said.
However, he added that if Bharti wished to join the Congress then she would have to accept Sonia Gandhi's leadership besides changing her ideology.
Taking at dig at Bharti's Ram-roti yatra, Singh said it would have been better if it was called as Roji-roti yatra.
If Bharti had got the CM's chair then the yatra would not have been conducted," he said.
