Hansika is on a high, what with the promising projects she's bagging in Tamil - Telugu cinema! The latest buzz is that 'Vettai' will be remade in Telugu and Hansika Motwani is one of the two female leads in this action packed entertainer.
It was earlier widely reported that the film will be remade in Hindi by Lingusamy with Shahid Kapoor playing the lead but things didn't go as planned and now the makers are reportedly planning to take it to Telugu masses.
It's said that Naga Chaitanya will play one of the brothers and Hansika will be seen as one of the female leads. 'Vettai' released in Tamil with Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Top notch film producer Bellamkonda Suresh is touted to have bought the Telugu rights of the film.
Hansika has lost a few pounds to fit the role well in 'Singam 2' where she will be seen with Suriya and Anushka Shetty. It's said that she will be seen as a school student in this film.
