Red Bull team principal Christian Horener said the three-time world champion Sebastian Vettel is not concerned by Mark Webber's replacement.
Red Bull are searching for a candidate to take Webber's seat in 2014, after the veteran announced that he will quit Formula One at the end of the season.
Lotus' Kimi Raikkonen and Toro Rosso's Daniel Ricciardo are the leading candidates to occupy the void, while there are rumours that Ferrari's Fernando Alonso could provide a surprise alternative.
Horner said that Vettel will be satisfied no matter who is chosen as his team-mate.
"I don't think he minds to be honest. I don't think Sebastian has any concerns about going up against any driver, and he hasn't voiced a preference either way. He knows Kimi, he knows Daniel. Both are very quick drivers and would represent a challenge for him, but he has not looked to influence the team in any way as to which way we should be looking," Horner was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"Both drivers (Raikkonen and Vettel get the same opportunity. It's down to what they do on the track that determines who is the lead driver or not, and the lead driver at any given time is the one who has the most points," Vettel said.
