SABARIMALA: Thousands of devotees thronged the sannidhanam for the Vishukkani darsan of Lord Ayyappa, slated to be held between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Saturday. For the Vishukani darsan, melsanthi G Balamurali will open the sreekovil at 4 a.m.After that the thantri and the melsanthi would offer ‘Vishukaineettam’ by distributing coins to the devotees.Sahasrakalasam and kalabhabhishekam will be the special rituals to be conducted on Saturday.Both the rituals would be conducted during uchcha pooja. Udayasthamana pooja, pushpabhishekam and padi pooja will be the other rituals to be held.Harivarasanam Award Presentation Devaswom Minister V S Sivakumar will present the first Harivarasanam award to playback singer K J Yesudas at a function to be held at Sannidhanam Valiyanadapandal auditorium at 7 p.m.Chief Secretary and chairman of the Sabarimala high-power committee K Jayakumar, Travancore Devaswom Board president M Rajagopalan Nair, members K Sicily and K V Padmanabhan, Devaswom Commissioner N Vasu and Devaswom chief engineers Ravikumar and Jolly Ullas will offer felicitations.
