Wadalis bring the magical Sufi to Coke Studio
The third episode of Coke Studio @MTV turned out to be one of the best with Sufi maestros Wadali Brothers taking charge.

New Delhi: The third episode of Coke Studio @MTV turned out to be one of the best with Sufi maestros Wadali Brothers taking charge and bringing out some of the best melodies with Bollywood and regional singers.

From 'Aa Mil Yaar' to 'Tu Maane Ya Naa', Wadali Brothers brought out the never heard before versions of some popular Punjabi and Sufi songs.

Accompanied by Mousam Gogoi and Bondo in the song 'Aa Mil Yaar', the duo with their magical voice proved that age is no bar when it comes to music. While the vocals struck melancholy, the flute in the middle of the song stole the show, with perfect transitions.

Playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan performed the song 'Chitthiye' with Wadali Brothers. The song that was sung originally by Lata Mangeshkar for the film 'Heena', was recreated on Coke Studio's stage with a fusion effect added to the song by the drums.

While fans awaited Wadali Brothers' popular song 'Tu Maane Ya Naa', the duo didn't disappoint and gave an all new version, a slowed down version of the song for Coke Studio fans.

While Wadali Brothers were the major highlights of the third episode of Coke Studio at MTV, performances by Sunidhi Chouhan, Mousam Gogoi.

Maula maula, a fusion of an English single sung by Sarah McLachlan fused with a Sufi poem written by Amir Khusro, was also a fresh piece of music heard on the stage of Coke Studio performed by Divya Lewis and Qadir brothers.

Coke Studio India is picking up pace with the performances getting better with each episode.

Coke Studio is a popular musical concept that brings under one banner styles and genres from different parts of the country, is all set to rock India after conquering Pakistani music lovers over three colourful seasons.
