Kolkata: The main accused in the murder of a 20-year-old college student in West Bengal last week has been arrested and will be produced in court on Wednesday.
After absconding for nearly a week, the accused was arrested on Tuesday night in Birbhum. The mutilated body of Sourav Chowdhury was found on a railway track in North 24 Parganas last Friday.
His family alleges he was killed for protesting against illegal liquor businesses and gambling dens in the area.
