Woman bank staff to back July 7 strike

KOCHI: The Ernakulam district women's convention of the Bank Employees Federation of India has offered to support the all India bank strike on July 7.The delegates, who attended the convention, said the new reforms in the banking sector would make the working conditions of women employees more difficult. KSTA state committee member K J Shine inaugurated the state convention held here the other day.District joint convenor M V Mary presided over the meet. The convention expressed concern over the ongoing attacks on women employees.
