Woman commits suicide after killing her 2-year-old son

A woman committed suicide after killing her two year-old son in Budhipurva village under Masauli police station area in Barabanki, police said on Wednesday.

25-year-old Suman hanged her son, Vishal before hanging herself in their house on Tuesday evening when they were alone, police said.

The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination, police said adding that the reason why she took the extreme step was not immediately known.
