Korean girl group TWICE’s Chaeyoung and rapper-singer Zion.T are together. The news initially surfaced through the local news portal Sway and was subsequently confirmed by both Zion.T’s agency, JYP Entertainment, and Chaeyoung’s agency, The Black Label. According to their representatives, the couple has been dating for the past six months, after being introduced by mutual friends. They were often spotted on public dates, frequently choosing to spend time in the Hannam and Yeonhui areas.
If reports are to be believed, Chaeyoung was impressed by Zion.T’s carefree personality and musical background. This comes shortly after another TWICE member Jihyo’s relationship with Olympian Yun Sung Bin made headlines.
A spokesperson from JYP Entertainment stated, “The two of them are currently dating with positive feelings for one another. They are supporting each other.” Later, a representative from Zion.T’s label, The Black Label, also confirmed their romantic involvement.
Meanwhile, as per Manila Bulletin, a source close to the duo stated, “Chaeyoung and Zion.T initially interacted as senior and junior colleagues before their relationship blossomed into a romantic one. Given that neither of them has a secretive or discrete personality, their close acquaintances are already well aware of their dating status.”
Additionally, the report further suggested that Chaeyoung and Zion.T were often seen enjoying each other’s company in Hannam and Yeonhui. Despite their busy schedules, the rumoured couple opts for quiet streets in Gangbuk for their romantic walks, favouring calmness over busy areas. The TWICE singer will be turning 25 in a few weeks, while Zion.T is 10 years older than her.
Chaeyoung made her debut as a member of TWICE in 2015 alongside Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun and Tzuyu. Since then, the group has released numerous groovy songs including Signal, Fancy, Cheer Up and Dance The Night Away. In February, the girl group released their comeback mini album titled With YOU-th, featuring singles like I GOT YOU and ONE SPARK. On the other hand, Zion.T entered the music industry in April 2011 with his single album Click Me. Known for his unique vocals, he has produced tracks like Yanghwa BRDG, Eat, The Song and No Make Up.
Meanwhile, TWICE continues to delight fans globally. With sold-out shows and upcoming fan meetings, their Filipino supporters remain excited.
