New Delhi: There’s no denying the fact that Malaika Arora Khan is just the perfect muse when it comes to slaying on the runway. At the ongoing 27th edition of FDCI’s Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter festival, the actress once again turned heads as she walked the ramp for designer Mandira Wirk.

Wearing a spaghetti-strapped black and gold floor-length gown from the designer’s collection ‘Romancing Rococo’, the actress was nothing short of a diva! The torso was designed with intricate thread work, the hem of the gown also had the same thread work.

While interacting with the reporters, Malaika expressed her happiness for having walked the ramp after so long for Mandira. "It feels great to be back here after ages. It is fantastic walking for Mandira . She always makes sure to dress me to perfection." Stressing that all the outfits helmed by Wirk can be worn to the red carpet, the actress also stressed that her own style statement is very casual and signed off by saying, "I'm definitely a jeans and t-shirt person'.

Just the perfect figure, just the perfect fit.

From drape gowns to Anarkalis; Wirk's entire collection delved deep into flowy ensembles and net for some parts of it. Versatile silhouettes, lightweight fabrics and layering were some of the dominant themes in the designer’s collection. While there were a lot of outfits that can absolutely be a part of a bridal wardrobe, but one that stood out was a Sari 2.0, courtesy its delicateness and boldness at the same time.

The Delhi-based designer chose collection revolving around the palette of ivory and gold, black and beige and tones such as grey, maroon, pink, blue and red.
