Deepika Padukone Stuns in Sultry Black Custom Louis Vuitton Gown at Cannes Red Carpet

Bollywood actress and member of Cannes Film Festival jury Deepika Padukone served us another ravishing red carpet look recently. The actress was spotted in an all-black sultry gown recently evening as she made her way to the screening of South Korean film Decision To Leave directed by Park Chan Wook. The 36-year-old actress opted to wear a custom-made Louis Vuitton black gown for the occasion.

The sexy black dress featured all-over feather-like detail, a plunging neckline and thin straps. The gown’s unique feature goes a long way towards imbuing it with the kind of texture that helps it achieve depth. Designed by the French fashion house’ Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquiere, Deepika’s dress offered a flapper-like energy to the movement. The Chappak actress kept the accessories to a minimum and wore simple dangling diamond earrings, and a chunky ring that helps offset the otherwise columnesque proportions of her look.

The producer wore her hair in the iconic messy top knot. The hairstyle offered a loose-but-sophisticated vibe. Meanwhile, for make-up, Deepika wore a heavy smokey eye look which was made softer by being blurred around the edges, and helped add a sense of intrigue to the outfit.

Deepika’s latest look is somewhat similar to another Louis Vuitton look she wore last week. The Gehraiyaan actress wore an all red custom creation by Loui Vuitton. The outfit was bolstered by the barely-there straps and plunging neckline. The monochrome gown came with peplum detailing around the waist, and a voluminous skirt that gave the grandeur feeling appropriate for the Cannes red carpet. Deepika also amped up the classy factor of the look as she wore a show-stopping diamond necklace by Cartier.

Earlier this month Deepika was announced as the house ambassador of the French luxury brand, and so far their partnership seems to be giving us some memorable fashion moments.
