Millions of girls have been swooning over the heart-throb actor Dev Patel but what will make them collectively sigh now is his appearance at the Oscars red carpet. The actor, who is nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for his film Lion, decided to bring his mother as his red-carpet partner and obviously, women all around are bound to fall in love with him all over again.
Moreover, her mother probably wins the best-dressed title, as she opted for a traditional Indian sari for the big night. If this isn't the perfect Oscar appearance, we don't know what is!
Lion, which is nominated in the Best Film category, is based on the true story of Saroo Brierley, who was just five when he fell asleep on a train and found himself hundreds of miles away from his home in rural India and was adopted by an Australian couple.
Many people including Billy Eichner took to Twitter to express their uncontrollable joy over the beautiful mother-son moment on the red carpet.
