Shravana Putrada Ekadashi fast is observed every year on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. Putrada Ekadashi fast comes twice a year. One in the month of Shravan and the other in the month of Pausha. This fast is awaited by all those people who want children. When is Shravana Putrada Ekadashi 2024?
According to the Hindu calendar, this year the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Shravana month will start on August 15 at 10:26 am. This will end on August 16 at 9:39 am. So, according to the belief of Udayatithi, the fast of Shravana Putrada Ekadashi will be observed on Friday, August 16th.
Shravana Putrada Ekadashi 2024 Muhurat:
If you will observe the fast of Shravana Putrada Ekadashi, then one should take a bath during the Brahma Muhurta on that day between 04:24 AM and 05:08 AM. After that, one should observe the fast by taking a resolution for fasting and worship. One can worship Lord Vishnu after sunrise.
On that day, the Chara-Samanya Muhurat is from 05:51 AM to 07:29 AM, the Labh-Unnati Muhurat is from 07:29 AM to 09:08 AM, and the and the Amrit-Sarvottam Muhurat is from 09:08 AM to 10:47 AM. On that day, the Shubh-Uttam Muhurat is from 12:25 PM to 02:04 PM.
Sawan Putrada Ekadashi in Preeti Yoga and Moola Nakshatra:
On Shravana Putrada Ekadashi, Preeti Yoga is from noon and Moola Nakshatra is till noon. On August 16, Vishkumbh Yoga is till 01:12 PM; after that, Preeti Yoga will be formed. Moola Nakshatra is till 12:44 PM; after that there is Purvashada Nakshatra.
Shravana Putrada Ekadashi 2024 Parana Time:
Those who will observe Shravana Putrada Ekadashi fast on August 16 will do Parana on August 17. The time for Parana is from 05:51 AM to 08:05 AM. One can do Parana anytime during this time. On the day of Parana, Dwadashi Tithi will end at 08:05 AM. Parana should be done before Dwadashi ends.
