A popular name in the world of showbiz, actress Urvashi Dholakia is a single mother in her real life. The actress, who reportedly got married at the age of 16, was blessed with twins -- Kshitij and Sagar when she was 17. Her marriage ended in a couple of years. Post this, she raised her kids without seeking help from others.
Still popular for her iconic role of Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s much-watched show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ is quite active on social media. And if her photos on Instagram to go by, she is truly a stylish mother.
Her twin sons Sagar and Kshitij turned 21 on June 21, and Urvashi was quick to take to her Instagram account to share their photos.
Born in 1979, Urvashi completed her diploma in Bharatnatyam from Nalanda University.
It was because of her interest in the performing arts and acting that helped her make debut in the Shri Adhikari Brothers’ TV show Waqt Ki Raftar. She was barely 6 then.

Even though she played a child in several shows, she bagged her first important role at the age of 14. And this was for the popular TV series Dekh Bhai Dekh.
Zamana Badal Gaya, Mehndi Tere Naam Ki, Ghar Ek Mandir and Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli were some of the other shows she was seen later.
But with the character of Komolika Basu she garnered huge popularity. This role helped her win several awards.
