More About Aavesham
Directed by Jithu Madhavan, Aavesham features Fahadh Faasil in the lead role of Ranga, a local Bengaluru gangster with roots in Kerala and Karnataka. Also starring actors Ashish Vidyarthi, Mansoor Ali Khan and Sajin Gopu, the film revolves around three teenagers who move to Bengaluru for studies but end up in a fight. It is then that they seek help from Ranga.
Fahadh’s character in complete white attire, flaunting gold chains and sporting a thick handlebar moustache has received a lot of love from the audience. Speaking about his character, Fahadh shared why he chose to play Ranga. “I have not explored such characters before, so when this story came to me, I said yes. My character is loud in this movie, unlike the ones I did in the past. Also, I speak a mix of Kannada and Malayalam,” he told Manorama Online. The actor also insisted that the film be watched in theatres and not OTT.
