Thalapathy Vijay is known for working predominantly in the Tamil cinema. The actor is gearing up for his upcoming film titled Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film is anticipated to hit theatres later this year. Currently, Vijay is garnering attention for his debut film (in the lead role ) Naalaiya Theerpu starring Keerthana.

Naalaiya Theerpu starred Thalapathy Vijay in the leading role alongside Keerthana and Easwari Rao, with Srividya, Radha Ravi, and Sarath Babu in supporting roles. With music composed by Manimekalai, the cinematography of the film was handled by RP Imayavaramban. Meanwhile, Gautham Raju was responsible for the editing of the film.
The story of the film revolves around a businessman involved in many extramarital affairs who also mistreats his wife. But events take a surprising turn when she becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son. Later, the son seeks revenge for his father’s actions. Naalaiya Theerpu hit the screens on December 4, 1992, receiving negative reviews and performing poorly at the box office. Despite this, Vijay received the Cinema Express Award for Best New Face Actor.
Following her debut, Keerthana starred in several films including Suriyan Chandiran, Pathavi Pramanam, Pavithra, Mannai Thottu Kumbidanum, Minor Mappillai, and Thai Thangai Paasam. She has also acted in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films. Later, she appeared in several Television shows such as Akshaya, Roja, Salanam, Anbe Vaa, and Kolangal to name a few. Presently, she is busy with her TV shows like Ethirneechal, Chellamma and Kanaa.
On the other hand, Vijay will also be seen in a cameo appearance in the upcoming film Irumbu Kai Mayavi. Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film stars Joseph Vijay, Suriya and Vijay Deverakonda in the leading roles.
