Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Gets Engaged To Art Gallerist Nicholai Sachdev, See Pics

Looks like the wedding bells are ringing for Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who recently starred in the movie HanuMan. The actress just got engaged to gallerist Nicholai Sachdev and the event was attended by her family and close friends. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar took to her social media to share a few glimpses of her special day and has been showered with love and blessings.

As the actress is gearing up to tie the knot with Nicholai Sachdev, she shared a few stunning photos from the engagement ceremony. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar looked breathtaking in an ivory and gold silk saree. To elevate her look further, she paired it with a hot pink blouse adorned with gold motifs. For accessories, she chose a statement diamond necklace and earrings. She chose to tie her hair into a bun which was adorned with flowers.

On the other hand, her fiance Nicholai too colour-co-ordinated his outfits. He opted for a matching ivory and gold kattu. In another photo, they can be seen with flower garlands around their neck and posing with their loved ones. The couple’s families too wore matching outfits as they flaunted their happiest smiles for the camera.

Reportedly, the couple have known each other for the last 14 years. Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is the stepdaughter of director-actress Radhika Sarathkumar. Varalaxmi shot to fame first with her 2012 movie Podaa Podi. She has also starred in Veer Simha Reddy, Yashoda, Michael, Vikram Vedha, Maari 2 and Agent among others. She was last seen in Prashant Varma’s HanuMan which starred Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Vinay Rai, Deepak Raj Shetty and others in important roles. The movie was about a man who gains superpowers.

Varalaxmi is gearing up for a Tamil movie which is reportedly written and directed by Dhanush. She will be sharing the screen with actors like Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayram, SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj and Aparna Balamurali, among others.
