Ahan Shetty made his Bollywood debut with Sanak, co-starring Tara Sutaria, in 2021. Now, he is geared up for his next release, Sanki. The actor is engrossed in a rigorous fitness routine, leaving no stone unturned for the role in his upcoming film. Hours ago, fans got a sneak peek into his impressive routine. The fitness clip shared by Ahan has a Diljit Dosanjh touch.
In the clip, we can see Ahan Shetty acing weight lifting to functional exercises as he pushes himself to the best of his capabilities. Highlighting his dedication to fitness, the actor looked dapper in all-black activewear, compelling us to take both fitness and fashion inspiration. However, Ahan’s motivation in the gym primarily comes from Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. How, you may ask? The actor added the singer’s recently released track Muhammad Ali in the background of the video. In his caption, he admitted, “Diljit Dosanjh songs hit different.”
Ahan Shetty’s fitness journey is nothing short of inspiring. The son of Bollywood star, Suniel Shetty, previously spoke to IANS about his exercise routine. He told the news agency, “For the past few months, I’ve immersed myself in a rigorous fitness routine, committing to twice-daily workouts.”
Crediting his trainer for the right guidance, Ahan Shetty added, “This journey has not only tested my physical limits but has also become an exhilarating adventure, thanks to the guidance and expertise of my trainer, Kaivan. It has been an amazing experience, realising my fitness goals and uncovering the best version of myself.”
Not just us, even Ahan Shetty’s coach is proud of the actor for his hard work and determination. In a post shared on Instagram, the coach, Kaivn D Panthaki, heaped praises on the star kid as he said, “Ahan Shetty, u make me proud. All your discipline, grueling hours in the gym, eating till you wanna puke and executing the other things to the T seems to be paying off. 6 months and 8 kgs of muscle weight later we still have a long way to go.”
As for Sanki, the film marks the second collaboration of Ahan Shetty and Sajid Nadiadwala after their last project Tadap. Helmed by debut directors Adnan A Shaikh and Yasir Jah, Sanki is set to hit theatres on Valentine’s Day 2025. The film, besides Ahan, will also portray Pooja Hegde in the lead role.
