Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s next film Mr & Mrs Mahi is all set to release on May 31, 2024. Ahead of the release, the makers shared a new poster featuring the lead actors in cricket uniforms. Well, Alia Bhatt has given a huge shout-out to them and mentioned that she can’t wait to watch the film.
Alia took to her Instagram stories and shared the poster with ‘Can’t wait Sharry’ as caption. Janhvi also reshared her reaction on her social handle. On April 14, KJo expressed his connection with the film and revealed that it will now hit theaters on May 31, 2024, instead of the previously announced April 19 date. His post read, “Some films are more than just stories … they are so much more than celluloid love …they talk to the viewer about dreams and how many a time people closest to us can come in the way of our dream.. In Mr & Mrs Mahi, Rajkummar will be portraying the character of Mahendra Singh Dhoni while Janhvi would essay the role of a character called Mahima. In an interview with Mid-Day, Janhvi had earlier revealed that she underwent a gruelling six months of intensive training in order to adapt to the mannerisms of a cricketer. The actress had said, “It was an exhaustive process of six months to get into the skin of the character and sync into the role.”
