Amitabh Bachchan Drops Another BTS Photo From Kalki 2898 AD Set, Fans Call Him ‘Legend’; See Here

Amitabh Bachchan has been basking under the success of his recently released film Kalki 2898 AD. The film also stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead role. Today, Amitabh Bachchan shared another BTS photo from the set and it has gone viral on social media. Fans have also reacted to it.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Amitabh Bachchan shared a photo in which he is seen handing from a wire while infront of him a hand like structure is kept. There are many lights also hanging. “Errr … KALKI at work !! Umm .. just hanging around,” read his caption. As soon as he shared the photo, fans commented. Many called him legend. One of the fans wrote, “Unbelievable. Aise hi nahin legend bolte.” Another wrote, “Best performance of the year Amit ji you proved again that you are the best ever.. forever.”

Taking to her Instagram handle, Preetisheel Singh shared a series of photos. Amitabh Bachchan is seen getting his makeup done and donning robes with desert tones. His look was enhanced by the use of prosthetics. She captioned the post, “Behold the transformation of @amitabhbachchan Sir into #ashwatthama: a timeless legend brought to life by a legendary actor.”

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan took to his social handle and penned a gratitude note for the success of the film. He took to X handle and wrote, “T 5062 – the essence of KALKI resounds within and without .. and my gracious gratitude.”

The Nag Ashwin film heavily draws inspiration from Mahabharat. Kalki 2898 AD is set in a dystopian future and revolves around four people — a pregnant woman named Sumathi (Deepika Padukone), who is said to be carrying a child that is the 10th avatar of Vishnu; the immortal Ashwatthama (played by Amitabh Bachchan) who has been tasked to protect the unborn child; a ruthless villain named Supreme Yaskin (Kamal Haasan), who wants the child dead for he knows the child will be the end of the baddie; and Bhairava (Prabhas), a bounty hunter who would sell anyone in return of money.
