Kim Kardashian is currently in Mumbai for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. Kim is accompanied by her sister, Khloe Kardashian and the filming crew of their show, The Kardashians. Kim recently took to her Instagram story to reveal that she and Khloe are also filming in India and thus, it seems likely that The Kardashians will feature glimpses from the Ambani wedding.
Sharing a photo of her and Khloe’s looks for the wedding, Kim wrote, “Had to screen grab our video because we’re just so happy to be lucky enough to travel the world together! And duh we’re filming The Kardashians too so you guys can see Kim and Khloe Take India.”
The reality show star, who is also the owner of the clothing company SKIMS, reached India early on Friday and was welcomed with much fanfare at the Taj Mahal Hotel. The staff at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai welcomed Kim with a garland and placed a tikka on her forehead.
The arrival of the Kardashian sisters sent waves of excitement through B-town. Known for their influence and star power, Kim and Khloe’s presence added an extra layer of glamour to the already grand affair. Kim dazzled in a red lehenga, radiating elegance and sophistication. Kim Kardashian also received a special welcome from Nita Ambani at the wedding venue. In a heartwarming moment, Nita Ambani was seen walking hand in hand with Kim Kardashian and Lorraine Schwartz, showcasing the blend of Indian and international star power at the event.
But the Kardashians were not the only international celebrities gracing the occasion. Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, accompanied by her husband, American singer Nick Jonas, added to the glamour of the event. WWE superstar John Cena and FIFA President Gianni Infantino were also present, making the wedding a truly global celebration.
The wedding merriments for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant commenced with the Mameru ceremony hosted by Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani at their opulent abode, Antilia, in Mumbai last week. Yesterday marked the grand wedding day, starting with the auspicious Shubh Vivah ceremony, calling for Indian traditional attire. The upcoming Shubh Aashirwad ceremony on July 13 will require Indian formal attire, and the festivities will culminate on July 14 with the Mangal Utsav wedding reception, where the dress code leans towards Indian chic. All these joyous occasions are slated to take place at the prestigious Jio World Centre in BKC.
