Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the members of his new cabinet, is set to take oath at a swearing-in ceremony scheduled for today, June 9, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Modi will be the first three-term Prime Minister after Congress stalwart Jawaharlal Nehru. To witness this historic moment, several Bollywood stars have turned up, including Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. Among them were also Anil Kapoor and Vikrant Massey.
Vikrant Massey who is present in Delhi for the special occasion told ANI, “This is a historic third term… I am looking forward to the next 5 years with the NDA government… The government has worked in the last 10 years. I have witnessed change… India is a big country and the change doesn’t happen overnight, it requires time.”

Megastar Rajinikanth also arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan and interacted with the media, “I am going to take part in the swearing-in ceremony… It is a very historic event. I congratulate PM Modi Ji for becoming the prime minister for the consecutive third time…”

Anil Kapoor also expressed his elation as he reached the venue in a car. He shared,
“Bas desh tarakki kare aur karta rahe. Positive(Hope the nation prospers and keeps prospering. Positive.”

Popular lyricist and chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification(CBFC) Prasoon Joshi was also spotted in a video shared by ANI. He was seen with Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Parmarth Niketyan’s Swami Chidanand Saraswati and AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan also made his way to the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi for the Prime Minister’s swearing-in ceremony. The actor was seen wearing a black outfit for the occasion. He tied his long tresses into a neat ponytail and completed his look with a pair of sunglasses. SRK, Akshay Kumar, Rajkumar Hirani, Kangana Ranaut were among the many Bollywood stars invited. In a video shared by ANI, Shah Rukh was also seen greeting businessman Gautam Adani.
Over 65 ministers are likely to take the oath, going by the visual of the meeting Modi held with his likely council of ministers. The decisions on the new cabinet were taken after a meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence yesterday. Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S Jaishankar, who held home, defence, finance and external affairs ministries respectively in the outgoing government, besides its other senior members such as Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Hardeep Singh Puri will be part of the new government.
