It seems that the announcement of Thalapathy 69, Vijay’s last film, is on its way. Numerous fans of the Tamil superstar have flocked to social media platform X to await an official update on Vijay’s next film after The Greatest of All Time, which is also said to be his last film before he fully commits to his political career. The film will be reportedly directed by H Vinoth and is rumoured to have Anirudh Ravichander scoring the score. On Friday morning, KVN Productions, the official production house of Thalapathy 69, posted an interesting post about revealing details of their next film at 5 pm. Thalapathy Vijay’s fans were excited and #Thalapathy69 started trending in no time. GOAT is currently doing extremely well at the box office. It is already the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year and is on course to become the highest-grossing film of Vijay’s career. The anticipation for Thalapathy 69 has only increased the celebrations surrounding GOAT.
One of the most important aspects of Thalapathy 69 is the speculations about the lead cast. According to reports, actress Simran will be reuniting with Vijay after 24 years. The last time the duo shared the screen was in 1999 in the film Thulladha Manamum Thullum, which was a huge box office success.
Another interesting new addition is Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju, who is said to play a pivotal role in the film.
Earlier, at a media event, director Vinoth confirmed that he would be directing Vijay’s last film and revealed that it would be a commercial and not a political film. According to a new report, Thalapathy Vijay is reportedly demanding a fee of Rs 275 crore for Thalapathy 69. It will be a full-fledged commercial entertainment film directed by H Vinoth. Fans will shower it with a lot of love and will leave no stone unturned to make it a box office hit.
