Ayushmann Khurrana is currently in Shillong where he is filming the schedule of his next, titled Anek. On one of the days, several fans surrounded the hotel where the actor has been staying. As per latest images and videos circulating across social media, a huge crowd of youngsters of the city rushed to the hotel to sneak a glimpse of Ayushmann. Around 200 youngsters were caught on camera gate-crash the hotel so that they could get to meet their favourite youth icon.
A video shows several fans going beserk to see him. Known for his humble nature, when Ayushmann learnt, he decided to leave his dinner and went to meet them.

A report in Bollywood Hungama quoted a person from Shillong who was on the ground. The eye-witness revealed that post-shoot wrap, the actor returned to his hotel and headed for dinner. Around 200-250 college kids from Shillong were gathered within 15 minutes outside the hotel. He had just started eating when he was promptly informed about the same. Ayushmann left his meal and went to the lobby to meet those fans.
The source added that the actor intimated his team that he didn’t want the youngsters to wait for him. He wanted to meet them quickly so that they could go to their homes early. The crowd was surprised to see his warm and thoughtful gesture and in response started chanting his name. Not only did he meet them, he obliged each one of them and took pictures with them, individually.
Anubhav Sinha’s ambitious project is being shot in the North East region of the country. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Benaras Media Works and T-Series, Anek is scheduled to release in the cinema halls on September 17, 2021. The film marks the second collaboration of Anubhav and Ayushmann after the 2019 film, Article 15.
