Bollywood actor Salman Khan is set to make a cameo in Baby John, a new report has claimed. Baby John stars Varun Dhawan in the lead and is produced by filmmaker Atlee. The film is slated to release later this year. While Atlee and Varun have kept the film under tight wraps, a report has managed to get out some juicy deets.
PeepingMoon has reported that Atlee has roped in Salman for a cameo in Baby John, marking their first collaboration. The news of the cameo comes amid reports that Salman and Atlee are collaborating on a high-budget action-packed thriller project.
The report stated, “Details of Salman’s cameo are strictly kept under wraps, but it’s believed to be a mass action sequence that is specifically written and designed for Salman. The Sultan of Bollywood will feature alongside Varun in this elaborate sequence, planned to be shot later this month or in August, depending on the weather.”
Atlee and Salman are yet to comment on the report.

Besides Varun Dhawan, Baby John stars Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film was initially slated to release this June. However, a few days ago, the team announced that the release date has been pushed to December now. Baby John is now slated as a Christmas release and will clash with Aamir Khan’s Sitare Zameen Par. Besides Atlee, the film is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande. The project is also presented by Jio Studios in association with A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios.
Speaking with Pinkvilla, Varun Dhawan said, “All I can say is it’s a mass-action entertainer. There is a lot of entertainment in the film, which I love as well. And I’m just going to give it my all.”
