Ever since Bigg Boss 18 kickstarted, advocate Gunaratna Sadavarte has emerged as one of the favourite contestants among the audience. The advocate was loved by the fans of the show for his comic timing and straightforward personality. He was recently taken out of the show. While the show did not reveal why, a latest report has revealed that he stepped out in connection to a court hearing.
As reported by India Today Digital, advocate Gunaratna Sadavarte stepped out of the Bigg Boss 18 house to appear for a court hearing. The lawyer missed a hearing on Monday and his team decided to pull him out of the show for the hearing as the case was getting affected. Reports reveal that he had appealed against the Maratha reservation in the Bombay High Court.
The report quoted a source who said, “He exited on Monday and has his next hearing soon. He wants to be back in the house, and given how he has been entertaining the audience, the makers would also want him to be on the show. However, no definite call has been taken about the same.”
Sadavarte’s exit from the show will be aired on the Tuesday’s episode. While his team and neither the makers have finalized when he will return to the reality show, the report mentioned that the makers are keen on having him back. Over the course of the show, his sense of humour made him popular among the audience and the contestants. He recently made headlines when animal welfare organizations such as PETA and PFA wrote to the show and criticized him for getting his pet donkey on Bigg Boss 18.
The Bombay High Court is currently hearing the petitions challenging the Maratha reservation. Sadavarte’s absence was questioned by the bench. The court has scheduled the next hearing for November 19.
