Blast From The Past: Shah Rukh Khan In This Iconic Glimpse From Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa
The film glimpse dropped by Red Chillies Entertainment captured a sweet conversation between Shah Rukh Khan’s Sunil and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi’s Anna.

Shah Rukh Khan commanded the attention of every fan with his rugged avatars in Pathaan and Jawan last year. In Dunki too, he essayed the character of a staunch and righteous soldier. The audience loved him donning the action gear for sure. But there is no denying that the Bollywood superstar’s romantic roles in the 90s occupy a special corner in everyone’s hearts. Now Red Chillies Entertainment has treated SRK admirers to a nostalgic surprise. Digging up the film archives, the production firm dropped video footage of King Khan’s 1994 blockbuster Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa on Instagram, delighting the masses.

Shah Rukh Khan co-starred opposite newcomer Suchitra Krishnamoorthi in the Kundan Shah directorial. The film glimpse captured a sweet conversation between SRK’s Sunil and Suchitra’s Anna. An excited Anna showed Sunil a couple of gifts she bought for her friends Albert and Chris. When Sunil questioned whether she bought anything for him, Anna replied that although a particular object grabbed her attention she could not purchase it due to money shortage. Sunil took the news graciously and expressed his happiness at the fact that Anna at least thought of him.

Surprising Sunil however, Anna pulled out a harmonica, underlining that she was poking fun all this time. She later conveyed that there was no way she could forget to bring a gift for Sunil. Happy with the present, he began playing the instrument as Anna watched him affectionately. “POV: you wish someone gets an ideal gift for you too” read the caption of the post.

Shah Rukh Khan fans rallied into the comment section reacting to the blast from the past video. “In the very same way SRK is a gift to our generation and for many more generations to come,” gushed one individual. “Sunil my favourite character,” admitted another. “What a cute baby face he had when he was young,” complimented a third person.

On February 25, Shah Rukh Khan celebrated 30 years of Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, calling the romantic comedy “the sweetest warmest happiest film” he ever did. “ I see it and miss everyone involved in the film, especially my friend and teacher Kundan Shah. To the whole cast and crew thank you and love you all,” wrote the superstar on X (formerly Twitter).

Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa also starred Deepak Tijori, Naseeruddin Shah, Satish Shah and Rita Bhaduri in key roles.
