Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan recently delivered a massive blockbuster together Kalki 2898 AD. The film has minted over Rs 500 crores domestically, breaking many box office records.
The Nag Ashwin film heavily draws inspiration from Mahabharat. Kalki 2898 AD is set in a dystopian future and revolves around four people — a pregnant woman named Sumathi (Deepika Padukone), who is said to be carrying a child that is the 10th avatar of Vishnu; the immortal Ashwatthama (played by Amitabh Bachchan) who has been tasked to protect the unborn child; a ruthless villain named Supreme Yaskin (Kamal Haasan), who wants the child dead for he knows the child will be the end of the baddie; and Bhairava (Prabhas), a bounty hunter who would sell anyone in return of money.
Amitabh played the role of the mighty Ashwatthama, while Deepika Padukone played Sum-80 in Kalki 2898 AD. Both of their performances were highly praised and appreciated.
Coming back to the wedding, in another viral video, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor were seen dancing energetically in the baraat. Ranveer, sporting a sleeveless kurta and a man bun, danced with his usual enthusiasm, while Arjun Kapoor, dressed in a sequined kurta with ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ stitched on the back, added to the excitement.
Earlier yesterday, an inside video from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s grand wedding was leaked on social media and. The video gave a glimpse of the opulent mandap with free-form tomb-like structures and the large stage set for the wedding. The ceiling, adorned with lights, created a starry sky effect, and hanging flowers add a dreamy touch. The interiors were palatial, featuring shades of off-white, blush pink and pistachio green.
