Director Lingusamy Accuses YouTube Channel Of Spreading False Information
The famous director has directed some famous films like Run, Bheemaa and Paiyaa working with some renowned artists in the South.

The renowned filmmaker and scriptwriter N. Lingusamy has accused a well-known YouTube channel of spreading false news, sparking controversy. The famous director has directed some famous films like Run, Bheemaa, and Paiyaa working with some famous artists in the Tamil Film industry. He also directed Anjaan, starring Suriya, which faced massive criticism. In 2018, he directed Sandakozhi 2, starring Vishal and Keerthy Suresh, but failed to leave a mark.

Lingusamy also runs a production house named Thirrupathi Brothers. The production house produced a movie named Uttama Villain in 2015 starring Kamal Haasan but failed to leave its mark at the the box office. Recently controversies sparked as the director accused a famous YouTube channel of spreading false and inappropriate information regarding the film.

The renowned director released a statement recently regarding the controversy. He mentioned ‘Dear worldwide cinema fans, Greetings from my end. Thirupathi Brothers production company has produced and released various successful movies like Deepavali, Pattalam, Paiyaa, Vazhakku Enn 18/9, Kumki, Vettai, Ivan Veramathiri, Manja Pai, Sathuranga Vettai. We have also received national awards and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. We were honoured when we produced the film Uttama Villain featuring Padma Shri Kamal Haasan, which couldn’t perform well at the box office resulting in significant financial loss. Mr. Kamal Haasan knew about the losses we faced. He, along with his brother Mr Charuhasan, has decided to act in another film for our production house to overcome the losses. Thirupathi Brothers would like to inform everyone that the popular YouTube channel Valai Pechu has provided fake information naming our production house.’

Lingusamy further stated that the YouTube channel has mentioned that Thirupathi Brothers is making a huge profit from the film which is completely false. The director requested netizens to stop spreading fake information like this on social media platforms as it may have adverse effects. Lingusamy mentioned that it is unacceptable to spread such fake information about anyone on social media platforms.
