Fahmaan Khan has made a shocking revelation about his stint in the popular show, Ishq Mein Marjawan. In the show which also starred Nia Sharma and Arjun Bijlani, Fahmaan used to play the role of CBI Officer Randhir Khurrana. In a recent interview, Khan recalled being a part of the show when he claimed that he was “abused” by the director on sets.
Fahmaan Khan shared that the director wasn’t happy with his acting skills and therefore abused him on sets once. “Some used to say it on my face and some wouldn’t. When I was doing Ishq Mein Marjawan, the director abused me a lot (laughs),” he said as quoted by Pinkvilla.
The actor recalled that he was once asked to memorise an 8-page long script in an hour. However, when he could not do so, the director abused him in front of everyone. “I was out of my mind thinking how would I memorize all this in such a short time. After 7-8 takes, the director said, ‘kisko lekar aaya hai yaar? Line tak yaad nahi hoti aur phir 2-3 gali baki usne (Who have you brought? He cannot even memorize his lines and then he hurled 2-3 abuses at me). I went back into my room, slapped myself and decided to try it. I picked up the script and did it eventually,” he added.
Fahmaan Khan made his acting debut with a cameo role in the 2015 show Yeh Vaada Raha. He then made a special appearance in Kundali Bhagya in 2018. However, he rose to fame after he played the role of Aryan Singh Rathore in Imlie. Fahmaan was last seen in Ektaa Kapoor’s Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatani. The show did not perform well on TRP charts and went off-air in just one year.
Khan is currently seen in Krishna Mohini. The show premiered in May this year when the actor exclusively spoke to News18 Showsha and said, “I always believed that I wanted to do something different which I haven’t done before. That’s the reason why I said yes to this show. I think this character has a lot of layers when it comes to how he (his character) has to manage everything, people in the family.”
