FIR Registered Against Vishal Dadlani for His Tweet on Jain Monk

An FIR has been registered against musician Vishal Dadlani for mocking Digambar Jain monk Tarun Sagar's speech in the Haryana Assembly. The music composer-singer on Saturday night had tweeted a picture and captioned it as, "If you voted for these people, YOU are responsible for this absurd nonsense. No #AchcheDin, just #NoKachcheDin".

The Jain monk had made headlines few days back when he addressed the Haryana Assembly. Dadlani's tweet of course did not go down well and the singer later even tweeted his apology. Hours later the singer decided to quit AAP.

Meanwhile, Delhi minister Satyendra Jain met the monk and apologised on behalf of Dadlani. The transport minister told the monk that the person who made the comments didn't know about Digambar saints. Dadlani's comment was even criticised by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal..
