Heeramandi Actor Jason Shah Calls His Break Up With Anusha Dandekar 'Rushed': 'I Didn't Think About It'

Heeramandi actor Jason Shah’s previous relationship with VJ-actress Anusha Dandekar was not a secret. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about the same and shared that their break up was “rushed”. Shah did not name Anushka but mentioned that his previous romantic relationship has only made him “wiser”.

“I have had a big spiritual change in my life since then (his last breakup), which has made me wiser,” Jason Shah told ETimes and then added, “It was rushed. I didn’t really think about it. The other person didn’t really understand me and I felt they were trying to make me fit in their box. And that is not going to happen, right?”

However, when asked if he is dating somebody at the moment, Jason refused to share any details and simply said, “No comments”.

Jason and Anusha made their relationship official in March 2017 when they shared the first-ever picture on their respective Instagram handles. In the photo, Anusha was seen striking a pose with a shirtless Jason. “When your director for the day looks like this #SoGramable! Oh Hey J @JasonShah (sic),” she had written. However, the couple reportedly parted ways in 2021. Their breakup rumours made headlines after Jason deleted their intimate photos from his Instagram handle.

Meanwhile, Jason Shah is currently enjoying the success of Heeramandi, which also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal Mehta, Farida Jalal, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman in key roles. It explores the various aspects of a woman’s trials and tribulations.

Recently, Jason opened up about shooting the rape scene with Mallikajaan aka Manisha Koirala. The actor admitted that he was “hesitant” before the sexual assault scene and mentioned that he was being cautious especially when he was supposed to slap Mallikajaan.

Next, it was recently reported that Jason Shah has also been approached for Bigg Boss OTT 3. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now. Interestingly, if Jason accepts this offer, this will be the second time that he will be seen in Bigg Boss. He was also seen in the 10th season of the reality show as a wild card contestant. Jason Shah made a memorable mark during his time on Bigg Boss 10 but had to leave the show due to health issues. Manveer Gurjar was the winner of the season.
