Veteran actress Rekha, who is known for her charismatic persona, celebrated her 70th birthday on October 10. With over 180 films over 4 decades, she is one of the most admired actors of her time. After a prolific career, Rekha now shares a motherly bond with many Bollywood stars including Jahnvi Kapoor, Shah Rukh and Alia Bhatt. As the actress celebrated the milestone, the industry showered their love and admiration for her. Among other celebrities, Priyanka Chopra who worked with Rekha in Krrish, also took to the photo-sharing platform to share a special wish.
Sharing a stunning picture of Rekha on her Instagram stories, Priyanka referred to her as an ‘Icon’ and ‘fabulous’. The picture featured Rekha in her signature style, a heavy golden saree and traditional jewellery. Expressing her love, Priyanka wrote, “Happy birthday Icon. May your year be as fabulous as you are.”
Apart from Priyanka, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty also dropped an adorable birthday post showing her love for the legendary actress. Shilpa wrote, “Happy Birthday, Rekha Ma! Your grace, beauty, and wisdom are eternal. So blessed to have you in my life. Wishing you good health and happiness, always.”
Moreover, producer Jackky Bhagnani also posted a special wish for her. He wrote, “Happy Birthday Rekha ji. Here’s to a marvelous year just like you!!”

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for the next season of Citadel and keeps sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses. She also attended the London premiere of Citadel: Honey Bunny alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu and other cast members. Citadel: Honey Bunny is the Indian spin-off to the show set in the 1990s.
Apart from this, Priyanka recently wrapped the shooting of her upcoming film, The Bluff, and shared a glimpse of the wrap-up featuring her family including Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie along with the cast of the movie. Frank E Flowers-helmed The Bluff also features Lord of the Rings actor Karl Urban. In the anticipated film, Priyanka is set to play a pirate who must protect her family against all odds.
