Popular South Korean singer and actor, Doh Kyung Soo, better known by his stage name D.O., a multi-talented Idol known for his performances, is all ready to make a highly anticipated return. The singer, who is also a member of the famous boy band EXO, has announced that he is returning to the music scene with his upcoming mini-album, titled Blossom. Fans of the EXO member, both as a solo artist and as part of the popular group, had been eagerly awaiting news of his comeback for a while now, and the recent announcement from his new agency, Company Soosoo, has excited his fans worldwide.
Scheduled for release on May 7 at 6 p.m. KST, Blossom will mark Doh Kyung Soo’s first solo album in about eight months, following the success of his second mini album, named Expectation. It was released in September 2023.

His new mini album will consist of six tracks, with the title track Mars serving as the lead single, reports Naver Entertainment. Fans can expect a blend of Doh Kyung Soo’s unique vocal style and heartfelt lyrics, creating a musical experience that is both uplifting and deeply moving.
Mars will reportedly narrate a story of love and growth, reflecting Doh Kyung Soo’s journey and his evolution as an artist in the industry.
According to Naver Entertainment, the album as a whole is expected to explore various themes of growth, from love and relationships to personal and emotional development, resonating with listeners on a meaningful level.
On his work front so far, in addition to his music career, Doh Kyung Soo has also made a name for himself as a talented actor, showing his skills in both film and television. His versatility and ability to connect with audiences have earned him a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim.
Following the release of Blossom, Doh Kyung Soo is set to take on his first solo Asian fan-con tour, titled BLOOM. Naver Entertainment informs that the tour will kick off in Seoul in June and include stops in 11 different Asian cities.
Meanwhile, Blossom is available to pre-order from 11 a.m. on April 8 through various online music platforms.
