Kannada serial Razia Ram, starring Sudhakar Reddy and Dinesh Annoru, was released in 2022 on Siri Kannada Channel. It has almost been two years since its release, but the fans of the serial still are fond of the actors and the characters played by them. The daily soap had an interesting storyline, however, it was the lead actor, Atharva’s exemplary performance in the series that was lauded the most by the viewers.
Atharva portrayed the role of a character named Ram, who saves a run-away bride, Razia in the show. On the occasion of Ram Navami, he opened up about his journey in the entertainment world. In a recent interview with News18 Kannada Digital, Razia Ram’s Atharva spoke candidly about the new chapters of his life. The actor became a household name with the serial. After 500 episodes, makers of other serials wanted to rope in Atharva.
However, as per the actor, the new directors did not want to cast him in a positive role like the one he was portraying as Ram. So, now, he acts as a villain and his fans and audience are showering him with love.
Razia Ram’s Atharva is indeed garnering attention with his villainous roles in the TV industry. He is garnering more fame and recognition now in negative roles in not one but two serials. Atharva features in Star Suvarna’s serial titled Gowri Shankar. The actor plays a negative role and is called Manja and the viewers have been loving every twist in the plot till now.
In the interview, he shared that before accepting the negative role, he hesitated. He said that previously, he played the role of Ram and everyone’s hearts. He decided to give it a try and is now receiving appreciation for his performance as Manja in the daily soap. This further paved the path for his next offer Shravani Subramanya serial, where his character Madan is shown in a negative light.
Atharva is currently busy with the shoot of the serials. Amid these, he and his friends have decided to come together and make a movie, where the actor will portray the lead role. The work on the new project is also going on.
