Janhvi Kapoor Is NOT On Twitter, Spokesperson SLAMS Fake Accounts: ‘It’s Very Easy To..’

In the digital era, where social media plays a significant role in our lives, it’s not surprising that celebrities often become targets of fake accounts and misinformation. Having said that, Janhvi Kapoor too has been the subject of such an issue, with numerous fake Twitter accounts springing up in her name.

Addressing the confusion, Janhvi’s spokesperson stated, “In the digital world, it’s very easy to create an account in anyone’s name. This is to clarify that Janhvi Kapoor has no official account on Twitter. Please refrain from using any information provided by these fake accounts. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.”

The creation of fake celebrity profiles is a widespread problem, and many stars have had to deal with false accounts spreading misinformation. What complicates matters further is that some of these fake accounts of Janhvi Kapoor have even managed to get blue ticks, misleading fans into thinking they are genuine. Janhvi Kapoor is currently on cloud nine. After all, her recently released Mr & Mrs Mahi, co-starring Rajkummar Rao, has been receiving positive responses from the audiences. The romantic sports drama has minted Rs 23.09 crore in six days at the domestic box office. The film was directed by Sharan Sharma. Sharan and Janhvi previously collaborated for Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.

In the film, Janhvi Kapoor portrays the role of Mahi, a doctor who shifts to cricket, after her husband, also Mahi (played by Rajkummar Rao) encourages her to chase her dream. Mr & Mrs Mahi also marks the second collaboration between Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi. The duo was earlier seen in the horror-comedy flick Roohi.

Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen in the political thriller film Uljah alongside Gulshan Deviah and Roshan Mathew. Apart from that, she also has Devara –Part 1 with Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.
