Karan Mehra Finally Reacts To Hina Khan's Cancer Diagnosis: 'God Bless Her'

Karan Mehra has finally reacted to Hina Khan’s cancer diagnosis. The two played the role of a married couple named Naitik and Akshara respectively in Rajan Shahi’s popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In a recent interview, Karan sent wishes to Hina and hoped for her speedy recovery. He also praised the actress for dealing with the situation “bravely”.

“I would like to wish her a speedy recovery, which is already visible as she is battling it bravely. So, God bless her,” Karan told Hindustan Times.

Karan Mehra is not the first of Hina Khan’s co-stars who has reacted to her cancer diagnosis. Previously, Shivangi Joshi also called Hina a ‘fighter’ and revealed that they are still in touch with each other. The former Balika Vadhu actress had also shared that she was planning to meet Hina soon.

“I’m still in touch with her. We spoke yesterday. She is okay. She is very strong. She is a fighter and she will be fine soon. We are all praying for her. I will meet her soon. She will get well super soon,” Shivangi told Pinkvilla. Shivangi used to play the role of Hina Khan and Karan Mehra’s daughter in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Hina Khan confirmed her cancer in June this year. Back then, she revealed that has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.

“Hello Everyone, To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger,” Hina wrote.

“I kindly ask for your respect and previously during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined and positive.
