Kushal Tandon Saves Jennifer Winget's Life As Beyhadh Set Catches Fire

A wedding sequence in the much talked about show Beyhadh went horribly wrong as the set caught fire and like a true hero, the show’s lead actor Kushal Tandon saved the show’s heroine Jennifer Winget’s life.

The incident took place on February 7th when the team of Beyhadh were shooting the wedding sequence of Maya (Winget) and Arjun (Tandon.) The scene was supposed to have the mandap catching fire, but in reality the fire spread too rapidly while Kushal and Jennifer were enacting the scene.

A video shared by Kushal on his Instagram page shows part of his stole catching fire and he rushing out of the mandap while Jennifer stood frozen. Seconds later he can been seen coming in and dragging her out from the mandap.

Tandon posted the video and wrote, ““It’s actually so cliche…… u save a girl from fire …. have always Watched and imagined as a scene ….. but it actually happened ….. the way I ran both the times … m laughing watching this wile m on my way back home … but was terrified that time …. don’t know what all was goin in my mind …. sad that Wat was the action directors safety … not a single action directors guy came to rescue that girl ….. Thanku God for giving me strength and the ability to think at that time to run and get her first Coz she jus froze … and the day ends … much love to all.”

Jennifer Winget took to Twitter to thank her co-star.

Some called it a publicity stunt on Kushal’s part to which the actor responded that it wasn’t and that he had suffered injuries in the incident as well.

In a short span, Beyhadh has garnered a lot of fans for its fresh and rather bold content. A week back, the show was in news for showing a love scene that featured the lead pair.
