The much-talked-about Laapataa Ladies seems to have struck the right chord with its audience. Released on OTT, the actors in Kiran Rao’s second directorial have also been receiving immense praise. The Bollywood drama offers the right amount of comedy along with overflowing emotions. Recently, the lead actors Pratibha Ranta and Sparsh Shrivastava were spotted together in Mumbai and we couldn’t get enough of them.
The two stars posed for the paparazzi as they stepped out reportedly for a movie. Pratibha looked chic in a one-shoulder lime yellow top, ivory pants and high heels. She went for a minimal-makeup look and styled her tresses in open waves. Sparsh, on the other hand, appeared cool in a brown T-shirt and black pants.

Social media users took no time to swamp the comments box with lovely reactions. Praising the film, a person wrote, “This movie was very good.” Another added, “Great movie, very fantastic acting.” Wanting to see the actors again, a user commented, “Great acting by them. May they get more opportunities.”
Some individuals lauded the stars saying, “Appreciation for all cast” and “They both played the most amazing character in the movie.”
Meanwhile, a few also looked for our beloved ‘Phool’ Nitanshi Goel. While one jokingly noted, “Phool crying in the corner”, another asked, “Where is phool??”
About Laapataa Ladies
The film revolves around misadventures of two young brides who get lost from the same train. While Pratibha portrays the role of Jaya Singh and Pushpa Rani, Sparsh plays the character of Deepak Kumar. Nitanshi Goel portrays the character of Phool.
Co-produced by Aamir Khan, the comedy drama also features Ravi Kishan, Abhay Dubey and Chhaya Kadam in key roles. Laapataa Ladies was screened at the 48th Toronto International Film Festival last year and released on Netflix on March 1, 2024.
