Makers Of Nivin Pauly-starrer Malayalee From India Unveils New Song Titled World Malayalee Anthem

Nivin Pauly, who was recently in the limelight for his cameo appearance in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Varshangalkku Shesham, is all set to show his charm once again with the upcoming movie Malayalee From India. The film is going to hit theatres on May 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, the makers of the film have recently unveiled an exciting and peppy promotional song, dubbing it the World Malayalee Anthem. The song features Nivin Pauly, who is popularly known for his charisma and quick temper, singing passionately about Malayalee culture.

The new lively track has been composed by Jakes Bejoy, who also sang it alongside Akshay Unnikrishnan and Tamil rapper Asal Kolar. The rapper also wrote the song’s Tamil lyrics, while Sharis Mohammed and Suhail Koya from Premalu wrote the Malayalam lines. Take a look at the song:

The 5-minute, 35-second song was released yesterday and has until now garnered 1,297,171 views on YouTube. Seeing the video, one of the users commented, “Bringing Asal Kolaar into this is the most lovely part. A south-clubbing bang." Another one said, “Super lyrics." Many dropped fire and heart emojis in the comments box.

Malayalee From India is expected to be a massive comeback for actor Nivin Pauly after a few of his previous movies, which could not manage to fully satisfy the audience and critics.

Earlier, the comedy film by Jana Gana Mana’s Dijo Jose Antony portrayed the actor as a full-fledged local character. The movie revolves around a jobless youth who causes havoc in his village and is then compelled to leave the village and his home and embark on a transforming journey.

Alongside him playing the main lead, the movie featured Anaswara Rajan, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Shine Tom Chacko, Salim Kumar, and Manju Pillai in pivotal roles.

Besides the upcoming Malayalam comedy film, Nivin Pauly is also set to play a lead role in the Ram directorial Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai. The film is set against an eternal guy who seeks his true love in each of his reincarnations. The film also stars Anjali and Soori in major roles.
