Actor-fashion designer Masaba Gupta happily announced the arrival of her daughter with actor Satyadeep Mishra. She announced on her Instagram and revealed that their daughter was born on October 11, a day before the Dussehra. Many of her industry friends and colleagues flooded the comments with warm wishes for the new family. However, it was Masaba’s mother, actress Neena Gupta, who caught the maximum attention with her touching post on social media. The Panchayat actress felt proud after becoming a grandmother, sharing a sweet photo of herself holding the baby in her arms.
In the picture, Neena is dressed in a plain white top and stylish sunglasses. She is holding the baby in her arms, with a sweet smile. Sharing the picture on her social media handle, the National Award-winning actress wrote, “Meri beti ki beti – Rab rakha.”
Meanwhile, announcing the baby’s arrival, Masaba shared a black and white photo in which she’s holding her newborn daughter’s tiny feet. The simple yet beautiful image captures the precious bond between mother and child. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Our very special little girl arrived on a very special day. 11.10.2024.”
In a previous interview with Bazaar, Masaba Gupta shared her thoughts on becoming a mother and how she manages her career. She mentioned that many people warn new parents about how their lives will change after having a baby, negatively. However, Masaba believes having a child should be a chance to welcome change. She had concerns about her body changing since she had worked hard to maintain her fitness for three years. While she was initially worried about the transformation, her feelings shifted after her body began to change. She also decided to take breaks from work when necessary.
Masaba and Satyadeep Mishra tied the knot in January 2023, surrounded by close family and friends, including Neena Gupta and Viv Richards. Just a year later, in April, the couple happily shared the news that they were expecting their first child.
