Preeti Jhangiani Shares Parvin Dabas Has Signs of Concussion, Recalls His Rescue: 'They Dragged Him Out...'
Actor Parvin Dabas' wife Preeti Jhangiani has updated on his health condition after he was hospitalised in the ICU after a road accident on Saturday morning.

Actor Parvin Dabas was hospitalised in the ICU at a Bandra hospital in Mumbai after a road accident on Saturday morning. His wife, actress Preeti Jhangiani has now updated about his health condition. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Preeti shared the emotional impact the accident has had on their family. She said it has been a shock and they are still trying to cope with it.

“It’s a shock, we’re still coping with it emotionally. He is usually very active and doesn’t stop talking about work even for a minute. To see him lying down and not his active self is disturbing for the family,” she said.

Preeti also said that Parvin has been experiencing dizziness, double vision, drowsiness, and nausea, all signs of a concussion. She said, “He has dizziness, double vision, drowsiness and nausea — signs of a concussion. He hasn’t been able to speak too much. Thankfully, his medical reports — MRI and CT scan — were clear. He will stay in the hospital for another week and will be out of the ICU soon. We will do another CT scan in three days.”

Preeti Jhangiani also cleared up any rumors, confirming that Parvin Dabas wasn’t drinking and driving during the accident. She said, “He wasn’t drinking and driving. It has been ruled out in the police report. Parveen is strictly against drinking while driving or going against any rules.”

The Mohabbatein also recalled how Parvin Dabas was rushed to the hospital after the accident. Speaking to The Times of India, she said that two boys saw the car, pulled him out, and sat him on the sidewalk before others took him to Holy Family Hospital in Bandra. “Thankfully, two boys saw the car and dragged him out of the car and made him sit on the sidewalk for some time. With the help of two other people, they rushed him to the Holy Family Hospital in Bandra. They left while we were in the ICU. I didn’t get a chance to thank them. I request them to connect with me so I can thank them,” she said.

Parvin Dabas began his acting journey with the film Dillagi in 1999, but it was Mira Nair’s Monsoon Wedding in 2001 that brought him widespread recognition. Since then, he has appeared in notable films like The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Khosla Ka Ghosla — where his performance was especially praised — and Ragini MMS 2. In addition to Bollywood, Parvin has also worked in Malayalam and Kannada cinema.
