Looks like Rakhi Sawant is back with her former husband Ritesh amid her legal battle with Adil Khan Durrani. Recently, the two were snapped together by the paparazzi in Mumbai when Ritesh questioned Adil for spreading lies against Rakhi. He even claimed that the latter’s statement that Rakhi’s bail plea has been rejected is false.
“He has been spreading lies. He has no evidence regarding what he said about the court’s judgment. He has saying things in media on his own,” Ritesh said. Rakhi also reacted to Adil’s claim that she would be arrested soon and stated that she is enjoying a lot in India. Watch their video here:
This comes days after Adil took to his Instagram stories and dropped a video in which he claimed that the Supreme Court rejected Rakhi’s anticipatory bail plea and asked her to surrender before the Mumbai police in four weeks. “Iska matlab simple form mien bata du ki apko jail jana padega uske baad bail milegi (In simple words, she has to go to jail first, only then she will get the bail),” he said.
The legal battle between Adil Khan Durrani and Rakhi Sawant has been going on for a long time now. The two were previously married but parted ways last year after the Bigg Boss fame levelled several allegations against him and accused him of being involved in extramarital affairs. Adil was then picked up from Rakhi’s residence and arrested on February 7, 2023. He was released after spending five months in jail.
Prior to Adil, Rakhi was married to Ritesh. The two participated in Bigg Boss 15 but parted ways soon after the show’s grand finale i.e. in February 2022.
Announcing their separation, Rakhi had said, “Dear fans and well wishers, just wanted to say that Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After the Bigg Boss show a lot has happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control. We have tried to work out our differences and tried to make things work but I think it’s best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy our lives separately.”
“I’m really sad and heartbroken that this had to happen before Valentine’s Day but the decision had to be made. I wish Ritesh the best in life but for me at this stage in life, I have to focus on my work and myself happy and healthy. Thank you for understanding and supporting me always!” she added.
