Ram Gopal Varma Urges Salman Khan to 'Counter Threat' Lawrence Bishnoi: 'SK Owes It to Fans...'
Ram Gopal Varma urges Salman Khan to issue a 'super counter threat' to Lawrence Bishnoi following Baba Siddique's death, claiming the 'Tiger' star owes it to his fans.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has stirred social media with his remarks on the ongoing Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi saga, calling for Salman to issue a strong “counter threat” to the 31-year-old gangster. Following the murder of politician Baba Siddique, linked to Lawrence Bishnoi, Varma took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice his opinion.

RGV’s Call for Action

Varma, known for his bold statements, said he hopes Salman Khan will rise to the occasion and respond to Bishnoi’s looming threat. In his post, he wrote, “I wish @BeingSalmanKhan will give a SUPER COUNTER THREAT to B or otherwise, it will look like a COWARDICE of the TIGER STAR… SK owes it to his fans to rise up as the BIGGER SUPERHERO in comparison to B.”

Varma’s statements come amidst the ongoing tension between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi, the gangster who allegedly harbours a 25-year grudge against the actor, stemming from the 1998 blackbuck poaching incident.

Bishnoi’s Threat and Blackbuck Case

Lawrence Bishnoi, who was a child when the infamous blackbuck poaching case occurred, has allegedly vowed to take revenge on Salman Khan for killing the deer, an animal revered by the Bishnoi community. The poaching incident, which took place during the shooting of Hum Saath-Saath Hain in Rajasthan, has had far-reaching consequences, culminating in the current tension.

Ram Gopal Varma further elaborated on the gravity of the situation, drawing comparisons to fictional plotlines. He said, “LAWRENCE BISHNOI seems to be more of an ANIMAL than Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Ranbir Kapoor,” referring to Ranbir Kapoor’s character in Animal, a film about revenge.

In another post, Varma sarcastically commented on how bizarre the whole situation feels. Without naming names, he described the unfolding events as something straight out of a poorly written movie plot: “A LAWYER turned GANGSTER wants to take REVENGE for a DEER’S death by killing a SUPER STAR… this feels like the most unbelievable and ridiculous story ever.”
