Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi have allegedly hiked their fee for Ramayana.

Ranbir Kapoor is charging a whopping Rs 75 crores for his portrayal of Lord Ram in Ramayana, if reports are to be believed. Director Nitesh Tiwari is bringing the mythological story to life on the big screen with Ranbir spearheading the project. The actor has been undergoing intense training for the part and the team has already begun filming. Amid these moves, a new report has claimed that Ranbir has asked for a massive sum for the project.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana Fees Revealed?

If a BollywoodLife report has to be believed, Ranbir has asked for Rs 75 crores as fees for the film. The fee is Rs more than Animal. A report by Pinkvilla in October that Ranbir, whose market fee was Rs 70 crore up until Animal, took a 50 percent cut for the Sandeep Vanga Reddy directorial. It was claimed that he charged a sum of Rs 30 to 35 crore for Animal.

Sai Pallavi Charges 6 Times Lesser Than Ranbir Kapoor?

Meanwhile, it is claimed that Sai Pallavi is charging Rs 6 crore for her portrayal of Goddess Sita. Although it is lesser than Ranbir’s fees, she has doubled her reported fees of Rs 2.5 crore to Rs 3 crore for the film.

Ranbir, Sai and Nitesh are yet to react to these reports.

Nitesh Tiwari has started shooting for Ramayana and recently the first set of videos surfaced on social media. Actress Akruti Singh took to her Instagram stories and shared a video from the film’s grand Ayodhya set in Mumbai. Later, photos of Lara Dutta and Arun Govil from the sets have been leaked.

Following the leak, director Nitesh Tiwari has taken a drastic step to combat these measures. According to a report by India Today, director Nitesh Tiwari is quite upset with the leak and thus, a “strict no-phone policy has been imposed on the set”. The director has also mandated that extra staff and crew be off the set when the shooting begins. As per the report, only required actors and technicians can be on set.
