Ranbir Kapoor Did NOT Like That Deepika Padukone Was a Flirt, Actress Wished He 'Expressed More'

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone did not shy away from talking about their relationship, breakup and becoming friends thereafter when they were promoting Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha. While it has been 11 years since YJHD released, it will be nine years since Tamasha released later this year. Fans often revisit their conversations and interviews from both the times. In one of their interviews, the actors confessed traits that they didn’t like about each other.

The Animal star admitted he didn’t like that she was a flirt. “That she is a flirt. That she is working too much and should not burn herself out. She should take more holidays and breaks and should reserve herself, which she has started doing now,” Ranbir told to Bombay Times in 2015 when they asked him to name traits he dislikes about her.

When Deepika was asked the same, she said, “There are more things I don’t like than like about him. I like that he is very, very respectful towards people. He is also someone who does not get visibly affected by people and by situations. He is someone who can detach.”

They were also asked to name things that they liked about each other. Deepika said, “There are more things I don’t like than like about him. I like that he is very very respectful towards people. Ranbir said, “Her values that come from her parents. She can many a times say the wrong thing, do the wrong thing, be obnoxious, can be rude, can be sweet but, it’s all coming from a place of organic sense of things, I don’t think she is ever saying something because somebody else has said it. It’s coming from what she thinks and she is very positive. If you are doing an interview or a scene with her there is a lot of care she will take for her co-actor or director. She does not have a hero-centric mind and is not a superstar who likes to steal the limelight from others.”

11 years on, Ranbir and Deepika have moved on, and are married as well. While Ranbir is married to Alia Bhatt and has a daughter with her. Deepika is married to Ranveer Singh and is expecting her first child.
