Salman Khan QUITS Bigg Boss OTT, Anil Kapoor To Host Season 3 of Controversial Reality Show

Salman Khan will reportedly not be hosting the third season of Bigg Boss OTT. If a recent post by the popular X handle ‘The Khabri’ is to be believed, not Salman but Anil Kapoor has been roped in to host Bigg Boss OTT 3. “#AnilKapoor to host new season of #BiggBossOTT3,” the post read.

While there is no confirmation regarding Anil Kapoor replacing Salman Khan as the Bigg Boss OTT host, the news has left fans of the reality show upset. “No Bigg Boss without Salman,” one of the users wrote. “This will reduce your TRP,” added another. One of the fans also suggested that Karan Johar, who also hosted Bigg Boss OTT 1, could have been a “better option”.

Interestingly, in April this year, Bigg Boss’ production house Endemol Shine India took to its official Instagram handle to announce Bigg Boss OTT 3. They shared a poster in which Salman was seen pointing towards the audience as he also asked, “Who do you want to see in Bigg Boss OTT.” However, the post was deleted later.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that all this comes at a time when Salman Khan has also been making headlines for firing outside his Mumbai apartments. On April 14, gunshots were fired outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area. Later, it was reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was alleged to be behind the attack. The gangster’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the shooting incident via a Facebook post.

A team of Mumbai police is investigating the firing case and has arrested five accused as of now. Earlier this month, one of the arrested accused, Anuj Thapan, allegedly died by suicide in Mumbai Police custody. While the police claimed that Thapan killed himself in prison, his family alleged foul play and claimed that he was killed.

Recently, the President of the All India Bishnoi Society, Devendra Budiya, also issued a statement and argued that the Bollywood superstar’s apology would be considered if he seeks forgiveness. “If Salman himself apologizes, the Bishnoi society will consider the apology. The mistake was not made by Somy Ali, but it was committed by Salman,” the Bishnoi gang leader told IANS, as quoted by Pinkvilla.

“Therefore, he should propose to the Bishnoi society that he wants to apologize. He should come to the temple and seek forgiveness. He should further take an oath that he will never make such a mistake in the future and will always work to protect wildlife and conserve the environment. If he does this, a decision of the society to forgive him will be considered,” he added.

However, Salman Khan has not issued any official statement regarding the firing incident.
