Samantha Ruth Prabhu Pens A Note And Praises The Cast And Crew Of Jigra, Calls Alia Bhatt 'Tigress'

Alia Bhatt’s latest movie Jigra was released in theatres over the weekend. The film is being lauded by many for Bhatt’s riveting performance. Among them is Samantha Ruth Prabhu who also praised the film. She recently took to her social media to appreciate the film and penned a long note.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared a poster of Jigra. Along with the poster, she praised Alia Bhatt for her performance and called her a ‘tigress.’ She also lauded director Vasan Bala and Vedang Raina. She wrote, “@aliaabhatt vou tigress! A performance so feisty and throbbing with life that I couldn’t take my eyes off you! The brave choices you make… the standards you set for yourself… Keep inspiring!”

Ahead of the release of Jigra, Prabhu attended the pre-release event of the film in Hyderabad. Bhatt had praised Prabhu at the event and said, “My dearest Samantha, you are a hero on and off-screen. I have so much admiration for your talent, for your resilience, for your strength. It’s not easy to be a woman in a man’s world, but you have surpassed gender. You stand tall on your two feet, and you have your talent, and your strong kicks to be an example for everyone.”

On the work front, Bhatt will be next seen in Alpha where she will share the screen with Sharvari. Prabhu, on the other hand, will be seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny where she will star alongside Varun Dhawan.
